在這里學(xué)什么? **Course overview**- Are you interested in how drugs are made? Are you fascinated by the human body and what happens in disease? Our BSc Pharmacology course explores all this and more.- Staff are research-active and experts in the field and include members of societies like the British Pharmacological Society, Biochemical Society, British Neuroscience Association and British Neuro-Oncology Society.- This is a practical-focused degree in pharmacology, exploring the action of drugs on the human body. You’ll study how the normal human body is affected by disease, learn in detail how drugs affect normal function and try to restore normal function in many pathological conditions.- You’ll explore where drugs come from and how they are developed, with extensive hands-on experience to discover how drugs interact with and affect molecules, cells and whole organisms.**Why study with us**- You’ll get complimentary student membership of the British Pharmacological Society.- In your final year you can study neuropharmacology, behavioural pharmacology, current and future cancer treatments, and drugs of abuse.- Bachelor of Science with Honours in Pharmacology is ranked 3rd in the UK with 99% of students in graduate-level work or further study after graduating (Complete University Guide 2021)**Further information**Interim accreditation by the Royal Society of Biology is currently granted with full accreditation expected once a full cohort of students graduate in 2021. The course is designed with reference to the British Pharmacological Society core curriculum.
