在這里學什么？ If you are looking for a course that gives you the ability to communicate freely in Japanese and Arabic, together with an understanding of cultural, political and economic contexts within foreign countries, the UCLan Modern Languages degree is not only a personally enriching experience but also develops your understanding of the recent history, contemporary society, culture and economy of the foreign countries. Japanese is only available Post A level study in this combination, with Arabic only available ab initio. If studied over four years, your third year is normally spent abroad in the country/countries of the main target language on a work placement, a study placement at a partner institution or as a Foreign Language Assistant in a school. This will enable you to greatly enhance your language skills and improve your confidence when communicating in the language in the international environment.
