在這里學(xué)什么？ **Course overview**- On our Foundation Entry degree in History you’ll discover how to become a skilled historian, combining the study of British and international history across a broad timespan - from the early modern to the contemporary.- Foundation Entry degree courses are ideal if you’ve got the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to directly join an honours programme. It’s a great stepping stone to a full degree.- You’ll approach history from many different directions. The themes covered in our teaching include: cultural history, economic and social history, gender history, international history, and political history.- You’ll learn to analyse evidence, formulate questions and put forward your own arguments and interpretations, as you become a historian yourself. **Why study with us**- History is rated in the top 20 in the UK for Academic Support - National Student Survey (NSS) 2020.- You’ll be able to take on a work placement with host organisations such as the Lancashire Archives and the People’s History Museum.- Develop your own Community History Project , working to a project brief devised by a real client.**Further information**On this course you’ll benefit from our Centre for Volunteering and Community Leadership (CVCL) which enables you to get involved in projects which make a positive difference to people’s lives. They offer a range of volunteering projects in the UK and Internationally so you’re bound to find something that inspires you.
