在這里學什么？ **Course Overview**- If you’re keen to pursue an interest in education, our Education Studies Foundation Entry programme delves into the systems and experiences from early years to lifelong learning.- Our programme is tailored for those who aspire to go on to teach, or to develop their existing practice.- You’ll explore the application of learning theories, the curriculum, the role of teachers and the shared nature of learning between schools, families and professionals.- We focus on inclusion for diverse learners from non-traditional backgrounds. Covering race and ethnicity, poverty and deprivation, gender, disability and learning difficulties, sexuality, mental health, as well as those who are subject to abuse or bullying.**Why study with us**- There are work placement opportunities within an educational setting at each stage of your degree.- If you’ve a prior qualification, you can join the course in Year 2 or 3, depending on your experience.- We keep your employment needs in mind, so study can usually take place with a one-day-release from your workplace.**Further Information**- On this course you’ll benefit from our Centre for Volunteering and Community Leadership (CVCL) which enables you to get involved in projects which make a positive difference to people’s lives. They offer a range of volunteering projects in the UK and Internationally so you’re bound to find something that inspires you.
