在這里學什么？ **Course Overview**- Could you design and construct infrastructure such as buildings, bridges, dams, railways and roads? Civil Engineering and Construction Management teaches cutting-edge engineering.- Our degree is founded on strong industry links and situated in a region that boasts a wide range of cutting-edge engineering and technology.- This course will equip you with the principles and concepts of engineering, underpinned by a sound knowledge and understanding of scientific principles.- Whether you become a civil engineer or a construction project manager, you’ll be expected to take overall responsibility for many aspects of construction and the built environment, such as the planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of a construction project, or the surveying and maintenance of existing buildings.- You’ll be taught by experienced industry professionals and academics.**Why study with us**- Develop your project management skills with a particular focus on the project planning and management process.- You’ll have access to speakers from the Institution of Civil Engineering and workshops delivered by regional and national contributors.- Benefit from the latest high-quality equipment and facilities available in our new ￡35m Engineering Innovation Centre.**Further Information**This course offers access to:- Materials laboratory.Offering a series of practical experiments designed to investigate the properties of a variety of materials used in civil engineering.- Fluid and thermo dynamics laboratory.Facilities to assess the engineering principles underlying both fluid and thermo dynamics.- CAD suites and large format printing.CAD software, in particular 3D design software requires a higher specification computer which are housed in the CAD suites at the University. Access to large format colour printing is also available.
