You could study interesting disciplines such as neuroanatomy, neuropharmacology and neuropathology. Single Honours Neuroscience enables you to focus your studies on an in-depth coverage of a wide range of Neuroscience topics. If you choose Combined Honours Neuroscience you will combine the core elements of Neuroscience with the ability to choose other areas of the subject that may interest you.Working in diverse ways, including in our modern labs, you’ll develop your independent research skills as you learn to acquire, interpret and analyse data from multiple sources. You’ll also understand how neuroscience can help us understand medical problems and improve the quality of life.Your degree will open up exciting careers in sectors as varied as healthcare, scientific research, pharmacology, IT, publishing and more. You might choose to work as a research scientist in academia or the drug industry, or work as a clinical neuroscientist in the hospital sector.With further study, you might go on to become a clinical psychologist, psychiatrist, doctor, pharmacologist or systems analyst. If you choose our four year course, with a year’s industrial placement, you’ll have the added benefit of significant work experience to offer employers.

為來自中國的學生設計 Students must have for Undergraduate Year 1: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS Gaokao. ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
