In this case, your programme will be made up of a combination of modules from both Environmental Science and Geography.In the Environmental Science element of the course, you will develop the scientific understanding and practical skills needed to tackle many of the world’s major environmental (and societal) problems such as climate change, food security, water resources, pollution and conservation. Our Environmental Science course at Keele draws on the expertise of scientists within the disciplines of life sciences, chemical sciences and geosciences. The course emphasise the role and importance of scientific understanding and practical skills in the analysis and management of environmental problems; ensuring the course is targeted at employment in the environmental sector. Alongside studying topical global environmental issues, you will have the opportunity to develop a broad range of practical, laboratory and field-based skills to take into future employment.Combined BSc (Hons) Geography at Keele allows you to focus specifically on your preferred area of Physical Geography. This course explores the Earth's varied landscapes and the complex, potentially fragile, global systems that connect them. As a student at Keele you will learn about the rapidly evolving science at the heart of global environmental change and discover new ways of understanding and appreciating the natural world around us. Our focus on climate change, global responsibility, sustainability, and the application of professional geographical skills to real-world situations will prepare you for a wide range of careers and for life as a responsible global citizen. What you learn here will equip you for future employment and for a lifelong appreciation of the world around you.This course is accredited by the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES), meaning students can gain free membership of the IES to support their personal and professional development in the environmental sector. This programme is also accredited by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).We place great importance on employability and on your future as a responsible global citizen. Your course includes training in professional and research skills, and opportunities for either a module or a whole year of work placement. Our study-abroad option is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons and establish international networks that can also enhance employability.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students must have for Undergraduate Year 1: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS Gaokao. ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
