A degree in English Literature and Creative Writing will enable you to develop both in tandem, finding and honing your creative and critical voice.You’ll study literature from Shakespeare to the present day, with optional modules in subjects such as medieval, post-colonial and American literature, and film. You’ll learn about the creative process and compile your own portfolios of creative writing while sharing ideas with your fellow students in a vibrant community of Keele creative writers. There are opportunities to spend a semester or a whole additional year at a partner university – which could be in Europe, Australia, Canada or the USA. In the beautiful surroundings of Keele Hall, you can enjoy readings from an exciting range of published poets and novelists.You will develop a wide range of both subject-specific and transferable skills. These skills will open up a variety of exciting possible careers, whether directly related to the subject or not. You might go into publishing, journalism, teaching, advertising, or the broadcast media. Of course, you may want to pursue a career as a published writer, whether part-time or full-time. You could also choose to progress to higher study.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students must have for Undergraduate Year 1: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS Gaokao. ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
