This programme is approved by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).Business and Human Resource Management at Keele encourages students to think critically about the dynamics of business activities and people management in a fast-changing society. You will engage with theoretical debates about management to understand contemporary business issues and cases.During your studies, you will examine how organisations function within their wider political and economic environment; how they develop and deploy management, and how they plan strategies to address future goals that are essential for becoming the business leaders of tomorrow. The programme explores the formal and informal ways of regulating the employment relationship in the public, private and voluntary sectors. You also have the opportunity to take a placement year, entrepreneurship year or an international year between years two and three of your studies.Your skills and in-depth understanding of management and employment issues will prepare you for a variety of specialist human resource management positions in recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, equality and diversity, or employment relations. In addition, the broad range of knowledge and transferable skills which you will gain on this course will equip you to choose a career in the commercial, public or charitable sectors in a range of managerial roles and functions as well as consultancy roles.

ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
