The events industry is a dynamic and rapidly growing sector which requires commercial and creative expertise. Many organisations now invest in live communications to create experiences for customers, motivate employees, and develop meaningful brand advertising. If you wish to develop your management potential within the events sector and improve your transferable skills, this MA International Events Management is the ideal course.
You'll learn how to plan and deliver an event, and appreciate the broader environmental, cultural, and political contexts in which events take place. Our modules also focus on relationship marketing, financial management, and managing culturally diverse teams - all of which will develop your skillset as an events professional.
Graduates pursue opportunities in senior positions in a wide variety of roles connected with events and events management. This may include events management companies, PR firms, local authorities, performing arts companies, festivals, conference venues, theatres, hotels, sports venues or concert halls.

Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. For some postgraduate taught courses, you need: IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
