The Political Science department offers two exciting paths to pursue graduate work: an M.A. degree, which can generally be completed in one calendar year (September to September) through the completion of courses and either a major research paper or a master's thesis; and the M.A. internship option that combines the M.A. coursework with a 6-month paid internship and valuable hands-on work experience.
The Department is committed to providing funding packages that match or beat those of other MA programs.
Students in this graduate program will:
- Take advanced Political Science courses in a range of specialized subjects
- Have the opportunity of applying to participate in a paid internship
- Write an advanced research paper
- Become a paid teaching assistant
- Have the opportunity of securing a research position
- Be eligible for exceptional entrance scholarships
M.A. with Internship

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) A student with a four-year degree or equivalent in the discipline to which s/he is seeking admission, and who has an academic standing equivalent to 70% or better in the final two years of study (full time equivalent) may be admitted to a Master's program. English Language Requirements: Minimum IELTS: 6.5; Minimum TOEFL: IBT-83; Minimum Pearson: 65.
