在這里學(xué)什么?
Explore how things like gender, race and sexuality shape your daily life and the relationships you have with family, friends and co-workers. You’ll learn from world-renowned leaders in the areas of equity, diversity and inclusion, and have lots of opportunities for hands-on learning including taking courses through the Walls to Bridges program, which brings together university students with incarcerated students to learn together in courses taught inside correctional facilities. Design and conduct research studies and take part in a program to end sexual violence.
FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE
- Explore the role of gender and other aspects of human diversity in shaping society, culture, and the lived experience of individuals
- Examine barriers to equality and construct strategies for the promotion of social justice for all Canadians
- Identify the ways in which one’s own values, experiences, and beliefs shape interactions with others in personal and professional contexts
- Develop strategies that promote collaboration and consensus building across diversity
- Communicate complex ideas in a manner accessible to a broad range of audiences

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) All programs require successful completion of the OSS Diploma and a minimum 70% average of six Grade 12 U or M courses, including ENG4U. English Language Requirements: A minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or A minimum score of 60 on the Carleton University’s Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL); or A minimum score of 60 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE); or A minimum overall score of 176 on the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE); or Successful completion of the University of Windsor's English Language Improvement Program (ELIP) (level III) with a minimum final grade of 75%; or A minimum score of 85 on the English Proficiency Test administered by the English Language Institute of the University of Michigan (MELAB); or A minimum score of 220 with a T.W.E. 4.5 on the Computer-based Test, 83 with an essay score of 20 on the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (T.O.E.F.L.).
