Be one of a kind with a degree from the only Social Work and Women’s Studies program in North America. We offer unique opportunities for hands-on learning, bringing your knowledge of equity, diversity and inclusion in to focus. We’ve got clubs, exchange opportunities and the chance to become involved in the community.
FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE
- Understand human behaviour, communication, and interaction as shaped by social/cultural contexts
- Assess, evaluate, and understand individual, family and group behaviours
- Appreciate contemporary social, community and ethical issues and related public policy
- Implement and understand social work interventions for individuals, families, and other groups
- Critically understand the histories, functions, and limitations of important social welfare organizations

為來自中國的學生設計 All programs require successful completion of the OSS Diploma and a minimum 70% average of six Grade 12 U or M courses, including ENG4U. English Language Requirements: A minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or A minimum score of 60 on the Carleton University’s Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL); or A minimum score of 60 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE); or A minimum overall score of 176 on the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE); or Successful completion of the University of Windsor's English Language Improvement Program (ELIP) (level III) with a minimum final grade of 75%; or A minimum score of 85 on the English Proficiency Test administered by the English Language Institute of the University of Michigan (MELAB); or A minimum score of 220 with a T.W.E. 4.5 on the Computer-based Test, 83 with an essay score of 20 on the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (T.O.E.F.L.).
