From micro- to macroeconomics, analyze how inflation, employment rates, and other phenomenon affect our lives. Acquire a strong education related to government, policy, decision-making, society and business. Seize research opportunities and the chance to combine your studies with other disciplines. Take this program and pursue a law degree or go on to grad school for an MBA.

FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE
- Using relevant statistical methods to understand economic issues, identify patterns, and forecast trends
- Understanding and predicting the ways in which valuable human, natural, and abstract resources are distributed, shared, and protected
- Arguing for evidence-based, optimal, high-efficiency resource allocation practices
- Internalizing significant economic principles, including supply and demand, market potential, and growth
- Collecting useful statistical data using self-designed and selected methods, including surveys
- Applying existing economic behavioural models to real-world situations and interpreting findings
Career Tracks: Commercial/investment banking, business analyst, policy advisor, development analyst, economic consultant, grad school, law school.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) All programs require successful completion of the OSS Diploma and a minimum 70% average of six Grade 12 U or M courses, including ENG4U. English Language Requirements: A minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or A minimum score of 60 on the Carleton University’s Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL); or A minimum score of 60 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE); or A minimum overall score of 176 on the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE); or Successful completion of the University of Windsor's English Language Improvement Program (ELIP) (level III) with a minimum final grade of 75%; or A minimum score of 85 on the English Proficiency Test administered by the English Language Institute of the University of Michigan (MELAB); or A minimum score of 220 with a T.W.E. 4.5 on the Computer-based Test, 83 with an essay score of 20 on the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (T.O.E.F.L.).
