Engineering technology focuses on the applications of engineering and modern technology in areas such as product improvement, manufacturing, construction, industrial automation and engineering operations. The University of Windsor’s BEngTech program will prepare you for the job market by complementing your hands-on college experience with an in-depth theoretical university education.
This is a program for you if you hold an advanced diploma from a Canadian college or an equivalent overseas institution. Graduates will be prepared to pursue or advance their careers in automation, product design, testing, development, systems engineering, field engineering, technical operations and quality control.
- Bachelor of Engineering Technology - General Stream (15 courses)
- Bachelor of Engineering Technology - Civil Engineering Stream (20 courses)
- Bachelor of Engineering Technology - Mechanical Engineering Stream (20 courses)
- Bachelor of Engineering Technology - Mechatronics Engineering Stream (15 courses)
The Mechatronics Engineering Stream includes a weekend class option. Classes are offered Fridays between 5 and 8 p.m. and Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to accommodate the schedules of working professionals.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) All programs require successful completion of the OSS Diploma and a minimum 70% average of six Grade 12 U or M courses, including ENG4U. English Language Requirements: A minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or A minimum score of 60 on the Carleton University’s Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL); or A minimum score of 60 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE); or A minimum overall score of 176 on the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE); or Successful completion of the University of Windsor's English Language Improvement Program (ELIP) (level III) with a minimum final grade of 75%; or A minimum score of 85 on the English Proficiency Test administered by the English Language Institute of the University of Michigan (MELAB); or A minimum score of 220 with a T.W.E. 4.5 on the Computer-based Test, 83 with an essay score of 20 on the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (T.O.E.F.L.).
