This program is intended to provide students who are pursuing the MD an opportunity to complete the professional degree in public health to expand career opportunities and permit interested professionals to apply the principles of both medicine and public health for the betterment of mankind. Completion of the MPH program can enhance physicians’ ability to receive primary certification from the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
Offered in conjunction with the UI Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, this program provides graduates with expanded career opportunities and allows professionals to apply the principles of both medicine and public health in their practice.
The following courses are required of students in the MPH program. Students are expected to earn ? B- (2.67) on each core course and must earn a ? B (3.0) cumulative grade point average on all core courses. When necessary, a student may repeat a course to achieve this standard.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree from a Regionally Accredited American College or University, or an equivalent degree from another country; A minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00, or the foreign equivalent. English Language Requirements: IELTS score of 7.0, with no subscore less than 6.0; PTE minimum score of 68 with no subscore less than 58; TOEFL scores below 100; a score of 550 or higher on the paper-based (PBT) version of the test, or a score of 81 or higher on the Internet-based version of the test (iBT).
