在這里學(xué)什么？
This course enables you to focus on international law through specific modules including International and Comparative Law, International Trade Law and International Criminal and Human Rights Law. You'll work with your classmates and academics to compete in the prestigious international law competitions: students also have participated in the Space Law Moot Court Competition, International Criminal Court Moot, Client Counseling Competition (with almost 20 other countries) and at the National Model United Nations, which was held in New York in 2017. This course offers content specifically designed to give you an advantage in the workplace. You will combine your academic studies with up to two professional internships, either abroad or in the UK. Alternatively you can undertake a professional module. You can also spend a year studying abroad at one of Kingston University's partner institutions: a great addition to your CV if you are considering an international career. These opportunities, combined with our Professional Readiness Programme, will help you to develop new skills to prepare for internships and employment.
On our Professional Readiness Programme you will explore topics such as developing your personal brand, networking to create opportunities, enhancing your CV, communication, time management and presentation skills. The International Law LLB allows you to progress to the vocational stage of legal training if you aim to become a barrister or solicitor working in the UK. All this is within the same three years as a traditional degree. In addition, you will gain additional practical experience, and thereby develop the skills employers' value most. Our courses are carefully constructed to allow you to build knowledge and skills progressively during your degree programme. We constantly update our curriculum to ensure that it covers the latest developments in your subject area, including the research and professional experience that your tutors bring to the course. Our course teams also draw on the wealth of experience provided by our professional contacts and highly successful alumni who feed into the design of our courses and provide master classes and workshops to enrich your learning.
