在這里學(xué)什么？ **Reasons to choose Kingston**– Kingston was ranked ninth in the UK for Art in the Guardian University League Tables 2020.– Kingston University is an associate of the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), so you’ll receive free membership and access to seminars and events.– You’ll gain the expertise to develop independent thought and confidence in your practice, as well as transferable skills suitable for employment in the creative industries.**About this course**This course will support your development as an artist and help you engage with visual and material culture. It combines a fine art studio practice with a historical and critical study of visual images.In our workshops, you’ll build confidence and competence. You’ll produce work for a portfolio, exhibition and review and have the chance to exhibit your work.You’ll explore both traditional forms of painting and sculpture as well as new forms such as film and digital printmaking. You’ll analyse cultural, historical and political contexts and environments. Through a guided research project, you’ll examine an art history theme in depth and complete a dissertation.
