在這里學(xué)什么？ **Reasons to choose Kingston**– Through a work placement/volunteering option, you’ll be able to practise your skills and gain valuable experience for your future career.– Fieldwork will include court observations, empirical research and case study analysis. You’ll apply theory to real-life situations.– Kingston is just a short journey from many criminal justice organisations, international NGOs, charities and governmental organisations.**About this course**What are the challenges that globalisation presents to social order, social justice and human rights? This course investigates how crime spreads across national borders. You’ll examine national and international measures taken to police crime and limit harm.You’ll also study the criminal justice system in England and Wales, explore issues of discrimination in the criminal justice system and have opportunities to consider power and the crimes of corporations and states.**Sandwich Year**This course has a sandwich year which takes place between Year 2 and your Final Year. During this sandwich year you will take a placement within a relevant setting, ensuring you gain essential experience to add to your CV and help you secure a graduate job.You’ll be encouraged to volunteer for relevant organisations such as victim support helplines, advocacy groups, justice campaigns, international charities and NGOs.
