You will kick-start your career with courses that develop your knowledge and skills in understanding financial assets and markets. This degree will qualify you for financial industry accreditation, and prepare you for a rewarding career in the fast-paced financial sector.u200b
You will learn the mechanics of the financial market and gain practical skills in our state-of-the-art Iress Trading Room, which includes a market data feed and trading software– the same technology used by the world’s leading banks and investment firms.
You can participate in an investigative study tour learning about business practices, finance sector as well as political and cultural influences in other regions.
This degree is dynamic and its program structure is informed by industry and latest practical research in Finance. Therefore, as a graduate you will be equipped with the knowledge and skill required by finance industry. Also, you will be eligible for membership with various professional bodies including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

3+1 Pathway to Masters
Want to gain a postgraduate degree with just one extra year of study? You can package the Bachelor of Business (Finance) with the Master of Professional Accounting degree and graduate with two qualifications in just four years with our 3+1 Pathway to Masters program. This unique offering allows you to fast-track your studies, develop greater expertise and broaden your career opportunities. You will study a three-year bachelor's degree and a one-year master’s degree (typically two years) in four years by using your undergraduate courses or electives.

In order to gain entry, students require an additional year of study following their high school studies. For example, this can include successful completion of: One year of study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: Overall 6.0 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing); TOEFL iBT score of 60 with Reading and Writing not less than 18; TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) score of 550 with TWE of 4.5; Cambridge CAE/CPE score of 169; Pearson's test of English (Academic) (PTE) score of 50 with Reading and Writing communicative scores not less than 50; CELUSA score of AE4.
