By emphasizing both theory and practice, the MSR program is designed to meet the needs of professionals seeking advanced training as well as scholars who want to explore robotics through structured, guided instruction. Graduates of the MSR program will understand the fundamentals of robotics and be prepared to develop and deploy robotic devices.
The MSR program consists of 30 credit hours of graduate level coursework, and offers a Masters thesis track or a course-based only track. The curriculum consists of a core of six (6) required courses, and four (4) electives. The latter are selected from an approved list of graduate courses and are designed to provide the opportunity for specialization in particular academic subareas such as control, estimation, optimization, or machine learning.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants to a University of Delaware graduate program must possess (or be in the final year of completing) a U.S. equivalent bachelor’s degree. The University requires an official paper-based TOEFL score of at least 550 or at least 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) for an applicant to be considered for admission. The University expects a minimum score of 18 on the Internet-based Speaking Test. IELTS score - 6.5.
