In today’s global environment, language study and cultural competency are critical for a successful career. At UD, the Department of Languages Literatures and Cultures has worked with the Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science and offers a stimulating interdisciplinary program. The program offers French courses in which a proficiency-oriented communicative approach helps students develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, with an emphasis on sociocultural knowledge that enables students to interact confidently and effectively within the target culture. Your study will prepare you to compete globally and succeed in the world of business where language intercultural skills are an asset.
