Our MSc Advanced Chemical Engineering programme is designed for applicants who wish to enhance a technical career in the chemical and process industry. It is targeted at those from a chemical engineering or similar background. The programme provides a variety of practical and theoretical modules to suit the individual background of students.
This programme integrates current and employer-relevant themes, enabling you to acquire knowledge and skills across a wide range of topics in the chemical and process industry with an emphasis upon chemical engineering applications. The course comprises a combination of lectures, practical design exercises, tutorials, computer-based process simulations and optimisations. It benefits from a mic of resource-based, problem-based and enquiry-led learning.
You will develop competence and confidence in the application of engineering knowledge and techniques to a range of industrial and real-world problems in the chemical and process Industry.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The majority of our taught Masters programmes / research Masters programmes and PhDs require that you hold a qualification equivalent to an upper second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.1), although some programmes, especially PhDs may have higher entry requirements. We generally consider Bachelor degree awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in China to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree. Lower second-class (2.2) equivalen - Overall grade of 70%. We may be able to accept a minimum grade of 65% if you have studied at a prestigious University as defined by the Ministry of Education. Upper second-class (2.1) equivalent - Overall grade of 75 %. We may be able to accept a minimum grade of 70% if you have studied at a prestigious University as defined by the Ministry of Education. International English Language Testing System (IELTS)- Academic Test (all test centres) 6.0 overall (with a minimum 5.5 in each skill) 5.5 overall with 5.5 in each skill accepted for entry to degrees with integrated foundation year.
