By choosing to research health, nursing or midwifery as a postgraduate at Hull you will be joining a vibrant and supportive research community. The Faculty of Health and Social Care offers high quality postgraduate research opportunities to students from a range of professional backgrounds. We are a rapidly expanding faculty with more than 115 academic staff, with diverse research interests and methodological expertise in many qualitative and quantitative research techniques. Our growing community of full- and part-time research students benefits from the guidance of a strong team of committed and experienced supervisors and a lively and supportive research setting.
This programme is for nurses, midwives and related professionals who wish to undertake a complex and original independent research project under the guidance of an experienced academic supervisor. It is aimed at professionals who wish to develop advanced research skills with a view to becoming independent researchers, or those who wish to pursue a career in higher education.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The majority of our taught Masters programmes / research Masters programmes and PhDs require that you hold a qualification equivalent to an upper second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.1), although some programmes, especially PhDs may have higher entry requirements. We generally consider Bachelor degree awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in China to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree. Lower second-class (2.2) equivalen - Overall grade of 70%. We may be able to accept a minimum grade of 65% if you have studied at a prestigious University as defined by the Ministry of Education. Upper second-class (2.1) equivalent - Overall grade of 75 %. We may be able to accept a minimum grade of 70% if you have studied at a prestigious University as defined by the Ministry of Education. International English Language Testing System (IELTS)- Academic Test (all test centres) 6.0 overall (with a minimum 5.5 in each skill) 5.5 overall with 5.5 in each skill accepted for entry to degrees with integrated foundation year.
