About our programme
Choose to carry out your postgraduate studies at Hull and become part of a vibrant, forward-thinking research community. Our postgraduate students are well integrated and fundamental to the work that we do, and we pride ourselves on supporting them to make sure that they achieve their full potential. We have developed an international reputation for our research in biomedical science. Our state-of-the-art research facilities include advanced instrumentation such as a new PET Research Centre, automated DNA sequencers, and a self-contained ancient DNA laboratory.
We offer MSc by Thesis and PhD opportunities and we have a network of exceptional research opportunities. An MSc by Thesis is a postgraduate degree option with more research freedom than the more conventional taught pathways. On this programme, you spend a year on a research project closely advised by your research supervisor. At the end of your project you submit a research thesis, which will be evaluated by a research panel.

We focus on investigating the cellular processes involved in metabolism and energy transduction in health and disease.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 The majority of our taught Masters programmes / research Masters programmes and PhDs require that you hold a qualification equivalent to an upper second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.1), although some programmes, especially PhDs may have higher entry requirements. We generally consider Bachelor degree awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in China to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree. Lower second-class (2.2) equivalen - Overall grade of 70%. We may be able to accept a minimum grade of 65% if you have studied at a prestigious University as defined by the Ministry of Education. Upper second-class (2.1) equivalent - Overall grade of 75 %. We may be able to accept a minimum grade of 70% if you have studied at a prestigious University as defined by the Ministry of Education. International English Language Testing System (IELTS)- Academic Test (all test centres) 6.0 overall (with a minimum 5.5 in each skill) 5.5 overall with 5.5 in each skill accepted for entry to degrees with integrated foundation year.
