About the Executive DBA at Aston
Our Executive Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) offers an opportunity for leaders to work at the interface of advance research and business to make unique and powerful breakthroughs in understanding how we can develop effective organisations.
Programme Structure
The executive DBA is a part-time distance learning course that can be completed in 4-6 years.
The Research Methods Course (RMC) modules are taught by expert staff in management research, completed in year 1 (maximum of 2 years), and are the foundation for all doctoral students:
Develop as a professional researcher Build the skills required to successfully complete the programme Lead to the development of your final research proposal and qualifying report

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students should have a Bachelors degree from an Chinese university but the specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course they are applying for at Aston and the Chinese university which they have graduated from. In general applicants should be scoring in the range of 75-85% average as a minimum. If they are applying for finance, engineering or science based subjects, they must have studied a similar field in their undergraduate degree. There are a number of conversion courses in the Business School which will accept students from any subject background. They can apply for the MBA programme with an undergraduate degree, in any subject area, from an overseas institution and a minimum of three years post graduation managerial work experience. They should have at least an undergraduate degree from a recognised Chinese university with at least 75-85% average as a minimum.
