在這里學(xué)什么？ Our BSc Chemistry course is offered as either a three or four year course with integrated placement year. It emphasises the commercial as well as industrial application of chemistry. We aim to expand your fundamental chemical knowledge, refine your professional, scientific and technical skills and to develop your personal, communication and management skills.This course caters for the needs of ‘pure’ chemists whilst providing the opportunity to explore the industrial, pharmaceutical, technological and commercial dimensions of chemistry. Business and other specialist topics are built into our courses enabling you to develop valuable management skills. You share your first year with chemical engineers, to gain a deeper insight into industrial processes.The broad grounding in the principles of chemistry will prepare you to enter research, development or production in the chemical industry or to undertake postgraduate research or teaching certificates. Alternatively you may pursue a career in areas as diverse as commerce, administration, accounting, banking or the civil service. Ultimately you will be equipped for a successful career in chemistry, the chemical industries or a vast range of alternative scientific, business and professional occupations such as teaching. 為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 A LevelsBBB must include Chemistry and one other science subject from: Biology, Maths OR Physics.BBC must include Chemistry and one other science subject from: Biology, Maths OR Physics and B in Core Maths or Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).Students who are eligible for a contextual offer under the Aston Ready programme are required to meet the three A Level requirement, including Chemistry and one other science subject from: Biology, Maths OR Physics, but will receive a specific lower offer ( more details can be found here .uk/study/undergraduate/contextual-offer/index)Excluded Subjects: We welcome the following subjects as an additional A level, but not as one of the core three A levels - General Studies, Critical Thinking, Citizenship Studies.We welcome applications from students who have tried to improve their examination grades by taking resits and only your latest grades will be accepted. We treat these applications in exactly the same way as other applications.
