Required Courses
- Option Specific Courses:
- Thesis Option: COSC 500 (6 credit hours)
- Project Option: COSC 501 (3 credit hours), a minimum grade of B. This course will be administered by the student’s master’s committee.
- 24 (thesis option) or 27 (project option) or 30 (course only without comprehensive exam) credit hours of graduate course work.
- Complete COSC 530, COSC 560, and either COSC 580 or COSC 581
- At least two-thirds of the total credit hours must be at the 500-level or above.
- A maximum of 6 credit hours of courses outside the department chosen in consultation with major advisor and/or committee may be applied toward the degree.

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting agency, recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEEA). A non-U.S.?degree must be equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from the United States and must be granted by a recognized or accredited foreign institution. United States degree holders must have earned a minimum of 2.7 out of a possible 4.0 GPA or a minimum of 3.0 during the senior year of undergraduate study. If you have completed previous graduate coursework, you must have earned a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 GPA. Minimum score requirements for admission to the Graduate School are: a total score of 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT), a 6.5 overall band score on the IELTS.
