Ensure sustainable development
Strengthen your passion for developing a sustainable society and ensuring future generations’ quality of life with USQ’s Master of Laws (Sustainable Development). You will acquire advanced legal insight through a strategic mix of coursework and research examining how to protect the longevity of our environment, natural resources, and government and societal systems.
The flexible course structure in the Master of Laws may give you the opportunity to select either a second specialisation, or an additional four courses from those listed below.
- Commercial Law
- Comparative Law
- International Law
- Public Law
A significant component of your degree will be research-based. You will become proficient in legal research, advanced legal writing and critical thinking through a series of guided research projects. Should you wish to complete a doctoral degree, the Master of Laws (Sustainable Development) is an ideal pathway.

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants must have Australian university three or four-year Bachelor degree in an approved discipline, or equivalent. English language requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.5 (or better)(no component lower than 6.0); TOEFL (paper based) score of 570 (with a minimum Test of Written English score TWE 5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 230 (with an essay rating of at least 5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 90 (or better) (with 20 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 58 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 58); Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)/ C1 Advanced or Proficiency (CPE)/C2 Proficiency with a score of 176 or above. No less than 169 in each skill.
