Advance your engineering knowledge
Explore solutions to complex engineering problems with USQ’s Master of Engineering (Research). You will learn advanced research techniques from leading USQ researchers and undertake a significant piece of research with industry to advance the engineering profession and knowledge. Studying engineering research at USQ will give you the platform to begin your research career, while working with industry.
USQ’s key engineering research areas include:
Agricultural and Environmental Engineering Biomedical Engineering Civil and Construction Engineering Electrical, Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering Fluid Mechanics, Rheology and Thermofluids Geographical Information Systems and Planning Mechanics, Materials and Structures Mechatronic Engineering.
Through a selected engineering research project undertaken as part of this program, you have opportunities for industry collaboration. Master of Engineering (Research) projects cover diverse areas including precision agricultural tools, development of novel composite materials and hybrid structures for rural and regional applications, water resource management, machine vision and control, next-generation mobile communications and 3D GIS applications.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have Australian university three or four-year Bachelor degree in an approved discipline, or equivalent. English language requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.5 (or better)(no component lower than 6.0); TOEFL (paper based) score of 570 (with a minimum Test of Written English score TWE 5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 230 (with an essay rating of at least 5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 90 (or better) (with 20 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 58 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 58); Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)/ C1 Advanced or Proficiency (CPE)/C2 Proficiency with a score of 176 or above. No less than 169 in each skill.
