If you are already a counselling professional, diversify your expertise in two fields of study with our Master of Counselling (Advanced Practice). Combine Alcohol and Drug Studies with Mental Health, or Child, Youth and Family Therapy with Mental Health. You combine the specializations to suit your career path.
The Master of Counselling contains four units (two courses) of research into issues that are relevant to the counseling field. You will nominate your preferred research topic from a list of available projects reflecting the research expertise of USQ’s academic staff.
Study flexibility
If you are not sure whether you would like to complete an entire Masters degree, apply to study USQ’s Graduate Diploma of Counselling and take the credit from your studies to the Master of Counselling if you decide to continue studying.

Professional accreditation
Master of Counselling is accredited by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants must have Australian university three or four-year Bachelor degree in an approved discipline, or equivalent. English language requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.5 (or better)(no component lower than 6.0); TOEFL (paper based) score of 570 (with a minimum Test of Written English score TWE 5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 230 (with an essay rating of at least 5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 90 (or better) (with 20 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 58 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 58); Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)/ C1 Advanced or Proficiency (CPE)/C2 Proficiency with a score of 176 or above. No less than 169 in each skill.
