Combine rigour and logic
Do you want to play a leading role in science, education, industry and society? Combining the rigour and logic of a scientific approach with the specifics of a professional area, the Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) is designed for those of you interested in finding patterns in numbers, space and abstractions. Offering courses in algebra and calculus, high performance numerical computing and foundation mathematics, the innovative degree utilizes online technologies to improve the learning experience.

Would you like to work for the Australian Bureau of Statistics, one of the ‘big four’ banks, an insurance company, in computing, logistics, engineering or finance? Well graduates of this degree are in high demand in a variety of industries. Specific jobs include work as a Mathematician, Operations Manager, Financial Analyst, Systems Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data Mining Researcher, Speech Processing Researcher and Market Researcher. 為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students must have completed Senior High School Certificate with 70% or equivalent. Applications are based on comparisons with Australian Year 12 level examinations. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.0 (or better) (no component lower than 5.5); TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 4.5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 80 (or better) (with 19 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 50 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 50); Cambridge English: First (FCE)/ B2 First with a score of 169 or above. No less than 162 in each skill.
