Make a change in environmental conservation with USQ’s Bachelor of Engineering Science (Environmental). With USQ’s external study program, you have the opportunity to study via distance or on-campus, giving you the flexibility to adapt your study to your life.
Why Environmental?
Become a part of the future of sustainable engineering and learn the fundamentals of environmental conservation and rehabilitation. With lecturers from successful research backgrounds, the knowledge and skills you’ll acquire will be first-class, to prepare you for a career as an Environmental Engineering Technologist.
With a strong rural soil and water focus and emphasis upon the study of specialist topics including water and wastewater treatment, mine site rehabilitation and salinization, you will be equipped to tackle environmental issues head on in the fields of the rehabilitation of mines and landscapes, water resource and conservation, salinization, irrigation structures, environmental studies and research.
Professional accreditation
As a graduate of the Bachelor of Engineering Science, you will eligible to apply for membership with Engineers Australia as an Engineering Technologist. After gaining some experience from working in the field, you can apply for chartered status as an Engineering Technologist.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students must have completed Senior High School Certificate with 70% or equivalent. Applications are based on comparisons with Australian Year 12 level examinations. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.0 (or better) (no component lower than 5.5); TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 4.5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 80 (or better) (with 19 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 50 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 50); Cambridge English: First (FCE)/ B2 First with a score of 169 or above. No less than 162 in each skill.
