The Bachelor of Business and Commerce and Bachelor of Information Technology provides you with knowledge and practical experience across the business, commerce and IT sectors and gives you an advantage within the workforce. Your qualifications will bring a competitive edge in the eyes of possible employers who increasingly need digitally savvy employees.

Professional accreditation
The Bachelor of Information Technology is accredited at professional level by the Australian Computer Society and, through the Seoul Accord, is recognized in other countries.
Accounting major graduates will meet the educational entrance requirements of CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). This provides Associate membership of CPA Australia, eligibility to study the CPA Australia professional exams and eligibility to study the CAANZ professional exams.
Successful completion of the Accounting major can qualify students for exemptions from the Fundamental level (9 papers) of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams.
Accounting major students who complete Finance minor will meet the educational entrance requirements of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia).
Finance major graduates will meet the educational entrance requirements to become a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia).
The Human Resource Management major is accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and satisfies the educational requirements for professional membership of AHRI.
Career outcomes
As a graduate with a double degree, your career opportunities are extensive and vary widely depending on your chosen majors. Careers can include administrative manager, personnel officer, supply and materials manager, event coordinator, product/brand manager and IT manager.
Some of the biggest employers of ICT graduates in Australia are international IT vendors, including Microsoft and IBM, and ICT end-users such as banks and government departments.

Applications are based on comparisons with Australian Year 12 level examinations. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.0 (or better) (no component lower than 5.5); TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 4.5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 80 (or better) (with 19 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 50 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 50); Cambridge English: First (FCE)/ B2 First with a score of 169 or above. No less than 162 in each skill.
