Tourism is a diverse and dynamic industry and, with an increasing emphasis on sustainable tourism, it is the perfect time to be a part of this exciting area with USQ’s Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Tourism Management).
The degree effectively combines theoretical study of tourism management, cultural tourism, event management, ecotourism and tourism planning with practical applications and experience, culminating in the opportunity in your final year to complete a course in professional work experience where you’ll work with an organization to complete a project.
In addition to your chosen specialisation of Tourism Management, you can choose to study another area in-depth with a second major, or broaden your knowledge with a combination of minors and approved courses.

As a graduate of this major, you will be well-equipped to assist the tourism sector to establish and grow a sustainable future. Career opportunities may include ecotourism project manager, tourism researcher, tourism marketing manager, cultural tourism manager, events coordinator, ecotourism guide, cultural tourism liaison officer, tourism research officer, regional tourism coordinator, owner/manager, hospitality manager, restaurant and functions supervisor and public relations officer.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students must have completed Senior High School Certificate with 70% or equivalent. Applications are based on comparisons with Australian Year 12 level examinations. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.0 (or better) (no component lower than 5.5); TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 4.5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 80 (or better) (with 19 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 50 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 50); Cambridge English: First (FCE)/ B2 First with a score of 169 or above. No less than 162 in each skill.
