Historians discover the stories behind some of the greatest and most significant events the world has seen. The past influences the choices we make as a society, nation or as a global community with respect to both contemporary and future events and issues.
Our Bachelor of Arts (History) gives you the chance to understand the events that have shaped our world. Through critical thinking and real-world application, you will be able to piece together information from the past and apply it to current events and issues. You will examine many areas of history including world civilizations, historic and contemporary Australia, race relations in Australian history, European and American history and the 20th century. Through your student experience, discover the areas of history that intrigue you the most.
Career outcomes
This degree will prepare you for a range of careers including librarianship, museum consultancy, archival work, media, journalism, public service and (with further study) teaching.

為來自中國的學生設(shè)計 Students must have completed Senior High School Certificate with 70% or equivalent. Applications are based on comparisons with Australian Year 12 level examinations. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.0 (or better) (no component lower than 5.5); TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 4.5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 80 (or better) (with 19 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 50 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 50); Cambridge English: First (FCE)/ B2 First with a score of 169 or above. No less than 162 in each skill.
