Unique to our highly ranked MSW program, is an integrated trauma-informed and human rights perspective, offering a transformational lens to focus your social work policy and practice. The traditional program, available full- or part-time, enrolls students from a wide variety of educational backgrounds. For qualifying applicants with BSW degrees, full and part-time advanced standing programs provide a faster route to the MSW degree.
Our MBA/MSW program teaches students to apply managerial and economic principles to social work practice. It's how our graduates lead highly effective service agencies and create new programs and policies. This collaborative program between the School of Management and the School of Social Work leads to both an MBA and MSW and reduces the time and credits compared to completing the programs separately.
Course of Study Options
The MBA/MSW dual-degree offers two program options:
A three-year MBA/MSW program, for students with a bachelor's degree in any subject A two-year Advanced Standing MBA/MSW program, for students with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree
Both MBA/MSW course of study options are full-time only. While there is a reduction in total credit hours for the dual degree program, you must meet all other requirements for both degree programs.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) or the equivalent from an accredited/government recognized college or university. Most such degrees will be four or more years in length; UB recognizes some three-year degrees, but not all; A B-grade (GPA of 3.0) or higher from your bachelor's degree (or equivalent) courses. Grade point averages from non-U.S. universities will be evaluated by UB's Office of International Admissions. English Language Requirements: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 79, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 550, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.5, the minimum score of PTE is 55, the minimum score of Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) 185, the minimum score of Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 185.
