Through our program, you will learn and practice epidemiological, statistical, research and survey methods to help discover the determinants including biological, behavioral, social and organizational of diseases and injuries.
As an epidemiologist, you will play a fundamental role in preventive medicine and public health. You will apply your understanding of diseases and injuries to inform both interventions and to promote healthy communities.
You will be prepared to work in a variety of fields, including:
- Local, state, national or international health agencies
- Health care delivery systems such as hospitals and managed care organizations
- Private research firms
- Pharmaceutical companies
- Academia

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Applicants must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) or the equivalent from an accredited/government recognized college or university. Most such degrees will be four or more years in length; UB recognizes some three-year degrees, but not all; A B-grade (GPA of 3.0) or higher from your bachelor's degree (or equivalent) courses. Grade point averages from non-U.S. universities will be evaluated by UB's Office of International Admissions. English Language Requirements: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 79, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 550, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.5, the minimum score of PTE is 55, the minimum score of Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) 185, the minimum score of Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 185.
