在這里學(xué)什么？
Global gender studies offers today's students courses in three clusters: cultures and identities, women and global citizenship, and gender and public policy. The courses within each concentration recognize developing trends in studies of gender issues in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe and the United States. Our objective is to link local and global knowledge, so as to prepare students with the capacity to link gender and history, literature and policy, and to be able to apply these to graduate work and practical employment.
Degree Requirements
The MA in Global Gender Studies degree is based on graduate coursework and original scholarship in the form of a master’s paper or creative project written under the supervision of at least two faculty.
Coursework A total of 32 credits are required for the MA degree in Global Gender Studies, out of which at least 21 credits must be taken in the Department of Global Gender and Sexuality Studies.
Core Requirements
- One theory course (Readings in Feminist Theory)
- One methods course (Quantitative Research Methods or Ethnographic Methods)
- Five additional graduate seminars
- Master's thesis or project and an oral defense

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) or the equivalent from an accredited/government recognized college or university. Most such degrees will be four or more years in length; UB recognizes some three-year degrees, but not all; A B-grade (GPA of 3.0) or higher from your bachelor's degree (or equivalent) courses. Grade point averages from non-U.S. universities will be evaluated by UB's Office of International Admissions. English Language Requirements: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 79, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 550, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.5, the minimum score of PTE is 55, the minimum score of Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) 185, the minimum score of Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 185.
