The MA in Visual Studies is a two-year, 36-credit program of study designed for a small, highly selective body of students who have already identified an intellectual project in keeping with faculty specializations. If admitted to the Visual Studies MA, you will work closely with faculty in developing an interdisciplinary course of study. Though a terminal degree, the MA in Visual Studies should be viewed as a stepping-stone to an eventual PhD, though acceptance in the MA program in Visual Studies does not guarantee ultimate admission to our PhD program.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) or the equivalent from an accredited/government recognized college or university. Most such degrees will be four or more years in length; UB recognizes some three-year degrees, but not all; A B-grade (GPA of 3.0) or higher from your bachelor's degree (or equivalent) courses. Grade point averages from non-U.S. universities will be evaluated by UB's Office of International Admissions. English Language Requirements: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 79, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 550, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.5, the minimum score of PTE is 55, the minimum score of Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) 185, the minimum score of Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 185.
