Programs in childhood education deal with children from grades one through six. The program in childhood education is also available with a bilingual extension/specialization. The Initial/Professional Program in Childhood Education is designed specifically for graduate students without an undergraduate degree in education who wish to teach at the childhood level. The Professional Program in Childhood Education is designed for graduate students who completed an approved undergraduate major and hold a New York State Initial Certification in childhood education.
Our master's program in childhood education prepares you to teach children from grades 1–6. If you do not have an undergraduate degree in education, you can enroll in our initial/professional program. If you have completed an approved undergraduate major and hold New York State initial certification in childhood education, you can enroll in our professional program.

為來自中國的學生設(shè)計 Applicants must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) or the equivalent from an accredited/government recognized college or university. Most such degrees will be four or more years in length; UB recognizes some three-year degrees, but not all; A B-grade (GPA of 3.0) or higher from your bachelor's degree (or equivalent) courses. Grade point averages from non-U.S. universities will be evaluated by UB's Office of International Admissions. English Language Requirements: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 79, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 550, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.5, the minimum score of PTE is 55, the minimum score of Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) 185, the minimum score of Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 185.
