Students in the combined BS in Exercise Science/MS in Athletic Training develop a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, exercise assessment and prescription, and nutrition through rigorous coursework. The science-based curriculum prepares graduates to work with individuals across the lifespan to promote healthy lifestyle changes through basic interventions and referrals. Graduates are well prepared and encouraged to take a national certification exam, such as the Board of Certification (BOC)* to become a Certified Athletic Trainer, the ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C) or the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with faculty on ongoing research projects. The Exercise Science BS/Athletic Training MS provides students with the opportunity to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years. Student are well prepared to work as an athletic trainer in various settings, such as high schools, colleges, industry, and professional sports.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Admission to UB’s freshman class is selective and is based in part on the quality of your secondary school academic record and the number of spaces available in the class. You should feel confident applying to UB if you have an above-average academic record and have taken challenging courses in high school to help prepare you to be successful at university. UB uses a 4.0 grading scale and we expect students applying here to have the equivalent of a 3.0 on that scale. That is the same as a grade of B or 83 on a 100-point scale. English Language Scores: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 70, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 523, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.0, the minimum score of PTE is 50, CAEL 70, CanTEST 4.5, Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) score 185; Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) score 185, IB Higher Level English a Literature 4, IB Higher Level English a Language and Literature 4.
