The combined Business Administration BS – Management Information Systems (MIS) Concentration/MS provides a full-life-cycle educational pathway students. Our program provides you with an educational experience that offers both quality and value and provides a path seamlessly completing your undergraduate and graduate degrees. This program provide a cost and time efficient means to increase a student’s career potential.
This is a five-year program combining undergraduate and graduate coursework that will help you to accelerate your business career with a focused graduate-level education where you will gain strong analytical skills, academic training and practical tools that employers are seeking in their ideal candidates. At the graduate level, students choose from several possible academic and career tracks and our MS in MIS is a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) qualified program, which provides an additional 24 months Optional Practical Training (OPT) for F-1 visa holders designated.

Learning outcomes for the programs are determined and continuously updated through discussion with the faculty group responsible for delivery of the courses in the program, as well as external stakeholders such as the School of Management’s Deans Advisory Council and recruiters of our students.
Employers seek future leaders like you with advanced knowledge to identify problems and leverage technology to develop solutions and realize strategic opportunities in any business worldwide and that is what you will be prepared to do upon completion of this combined program. You will gain the strong analytical skills, academic training and practical experience and expertise using tools that employers are seeking in their ideal candidates. At the graduate level, you will choose the analytics or information systems track which will arm the knowledge, skills, and tools that will launch your career.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Admission to UB’s freshman class is selective and is based in part on the quality of your secondary school academic record and the number of spaces available in the class. You should feel confident applying to UB if you have an above-average academic record and have taken challenging courses in high school to help prepare you to be successful at university. UB uses a 4.0 grading scale and we expect students applying here to have the equivalent of a 3.0 on that scale. That is the same as a grade of B or 83 on a 100-point scale. English Language Scores: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 70, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 523, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.0, the minimum score of PTE is 50, CAEL 70, CanTEST 4.5, Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) score 185; Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) score 185, IB Higher Level English a Literature 4, IB Higher Level English a Language and Literature 4.
