Why study Business Administration BS - Data Analytics Concentration at UB?
Our programs provide you with an educational experience that offers both quality and value. We emphasize broad exposure to quantitative reasoning, social sciences, soft skills, and a general management education required to compete in today's global market.
The Data Analytics concentration will arm students with a high demand skill set – the ability to analyze, manipulate, and draw inferences from large data sets. This rising discipline requires practitioners with know-how that cuts across core business disciplines and well-developed critical thinking and communication skills, which are deeply informed by context. The Data Analytics concentration must be coupled with a primary concentration within the major. Students receive both the theoretical and practical knowledge essential to applying advanced business data analytics methods and models to a diverse set of business topics and challenges across functional concentrations in our program (Finance, HR, MIS, Marketing, and Operations and Supply Chain). The Data Analytics concentration paired with a primary concentration will provide students with a frame of reference by which to analyze the data.

Career Outlook
The Career Resource Center (CRC) in the School of Management serves as the primary resource for students and alumni, helping them to effectively leverage CRC tools and services in career exploration and job search. The CRC is also a key link between the school and employers, offering programs that bring these groups together, such as job fairs, networking events, the Career Passport Program, internships, campus recruiting, professional speakers for student clubs, industry presenters in the required career planning/strategies class, the LinkedIn UB alumni Mentor Link group, as well as career development workshops and seminars.

為來自中國的學生設計 Admission to UB’s freshman class is selective and is based in part on the quality of your secondary school academic record and the number of spaces available in the class. You should feel confident applying to UB if you have an above-average academic record and have taken challenging courses in high school to help prepare you to be successful at university. UB uses a 4.0 grading scale and we expect students applying here to have the equivalent of a 3.0 on that scale. That is the same as a grade of B or 83 on a 100-point scale. English Language Scores: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 70, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 523, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.0, the minimum score of PTE is 50, CAEL 70, CanTEST 4.5, Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) score 185; Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) score 185, IB Higher Level English a Literature 4, IB Higher Level English a Language and Literature 4.
