Why study Social Sciences Interdisciplinary BA Health and Human Services Concentration/Social Work MSW at UB?
The Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Degree Programs (SSC) and the Graduate School of Social Work have developed a combined degree program between SSC's Health and Human Services concentration and Social Work's Master of Social Work. It is a 5-year program that leads to a combined BA/MSW degree. Only Health and Human Services students with junior standing, who have met the minimum admission requirements, are eligible to apply to this competitive program. More information on this program may be obtained through the SSC office.
The Health and Human Services (HHS) major within in the Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Programs studies the systems delivering human services to individuals and communities in need, the problems affecting those individuals and communities, and the professions and professionals providing services.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Admission to UB’s freshman class is selective and is based in part on the quality of your secondary school academic record and the number of spaces available in the class. You should feel confident applying to UB if you have an above-average academic record and have taken challenging courses in high school to help prepare you to be successful at university. UB uses a 4.0 grading scale and we expect students applying here to have the equivalent of a 3.0 on that scale. That is the same as a grade of B or 83 on a 100-point scale. English Language Scores: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 70, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 523, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.0, the minimum score of PTE is 50, CAEL 70, CanTEST 4.5, Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) score 185; Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) score 185, IB Higher Level English a Literature 4, IB Higher Level English a Language and Literature 4.
