Pre-veterinary medicine students may choose any major, but should work with a pre-professional advisor to plan a course of study that fulfills the pre-veterinary medicine studies requirements as well as the requirements for the major.
UIC undergraduates can declare a Pre-Veterinary educational goal to prepare for entry into the University of Illinois Veterinary school, or other veterinary programs.
Preprofessional educational goals are curricula designed for students who intend to pursue their undergraduate or graduate education at University of Illinois professional schools. Preprofessional educational goals are complementary to degree programs, and students must apply as undeclared or to a specific bachelor's degree program.

為來自中國的學生設計 High school graduates who have never attended another college or university must submit evidence of graduation from an accredited high school or submit passing scores on the General Educational Development (GED) test. English language requirements: TOEFL iBT score 80; TOEFL PBT score 550; IELTS Academic overall score 6.5; Listening, Writing, Reading, Speaking score 6; PTE Academic overall score 54 Listening 47, Writing 56, Reading 51, Speaking 53.
