The Nutrition Science Program focuses on intensive study in biological and physical sciences as a basis for understanding the science of nutrition and the relationships between nutrients and human health. This program requires 19 fewer credits and is two semesters shorter than the Coordinated Program because it does not include a supervised practice component. This program allows you to choose whether you want to be a part time student or a full time student.
This is an accredited "Didactic Program in Dietetics," enabling graduates to apply for a dietetic internship at an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics accredited program. A graduate of this program who completes an accredited internship is eligible to take the registration examination to become a registered dietitian. Additional options for DPD graduates include applying for graduate school in nutrition, food science, medicine or another allied health field, or potentially working in a WIC (Women Infants and Children) setting, the food industry, or in publications. The program can be tailored for students who expect to pursue advanced degrees in nutritional sciences or professional degrees in medicine, dentistry or public health.

English language requirements: TOEFL iBT score 80; TOEFL PBT score 550; IELTS Academic overall score 6.5; Listening, Writing, Reading, Speaking score 6; PTE Academic overall score 54 Listening 47, Writing 56, Reading 51, Speaking 53.
