在這里學(xué)什么？ Overview
The department is one of the leading international centres for graduate study and research on the classical world. There are in total around 30 leading academics at UCL who work on all aspects of the ancient world. Classical languages, literature, philosophy and reception studies are based in UCL Greek & Latin; colleagues in ancient history, art history and archaeology are based in UCL History and the Institute of Archaeology, and we work closely to provide a rich interdisciplinary programme. Located at the heart of the capital, we are at the hub of an unrivalled range of resources for the study of the ancient world. The UCL Library possesses excellent holdings for all areas of our discipline.
Careers
UCL is a major research university, and most of our graduates seek a career in research and university teaching. We help students to apply for postdoctoral research fellowships, and in the academic job market. Recent graduates have won British Academy, Leverhulme and Wellcome Trust postdoctoral fellowships, and many have gone on to careers in leading UK and international universities (Athens, Bristol, Cambridge, Cyprus, Edinburgh, Exeter, London, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham, Oxford, Swansea and St Andrews).
Employability
A PhD from UCL is recognised as a world-class qualification in research on the ancient Greco-Roman world and its place in intellectual history. We have international staff who are well placed to advise and support students as they enter the academic job market, and we have a good track record in helping our graduates start their careers in research and academia.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students need to have Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall average mark of 85% for courses requiring Upper second-class (2:1) degree. For courses requiring Lower second-class (2:2) degree, they need to have a minimum overall average mark of 80%. Some programmes / departments will require higher marks.
