Students can specialise in any area of European Studies for which there is a suitable supervisor. We have a high level of expertise in the fields of modern European history, thought, literature, and film. European Studies is an interdisciplinary programme which considers Europe in terms of its politics, history, literature, film, culture and thought. As part of the Centre for Multidisciplinary and Intercultural Inquiry, it draws on the expertise of members of staff in the Faculties of Arts & Humanities, Social & Historical Sciences, and the School of Slavonic & Eastern European Studies (SSEES).
Careers
Many of our graduates go on to pursue academic careers and recently our students have taken up positions at UCL, Oxford and King’s College London amongst others. Others are working for non-governmental organisations or in the arts.

為來自中國的學生設計 Students need to have Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall average mark of 85% for courses requiring Upper second-class (2:1) degree. For courses requiring Lower second-class (2:2) degree, they need to have a minimum overall average mark of 80%. Some programmes / departments will require higher marks.
