This Master's of Public Administration prepares the next generation of energy technology leaders and decision makers to tackle complex challenges, from governing energy systems to developing sustainable and renewable energy policy options. Graduates gain the tools, practical skills and knowledge to leverage technology and innovation in energy policy and gain insights from practising experts. The degree is a collaboration between UCL STEaPP and the UCL Energy Institute.
Candidates are taught economic or modelling techniques, policy analysis tools and analytical methods to develop energy technology policies. Candidates also study how energy innovation policies are developed, evaluated and administered in policy practice. A focus on leadership and the development of professional skills is emphasised throughout.
Graduates of this Master's of Public Administration acquire skills to work in a range of sectors involved in analysis and/or policy-making concerning energy and related technology innovation. Career destinations might include national and local government; international agencies such as the World Bank, International Energy Agency and other global organisations; technology companies focused on sustainable energy; government ministries of energy, innovation or development; environment agencies; consultancies and think tanks.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students need to have Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall average mark of 85% for courses requiring Upper second-class (2:1) degree. For courses requiring Lower second-class (2:2) degree, they need to have a minimum overall average mark of 80%. Some programmes / departments will require higher marks.
